 The gestation period for elephants is twenty-two months.  Wow.  There are two distinct types, African and Asian.  African elephants are much larger - 50% heavier, taller, live longer - 60 yrs vs 48 yrs, and can run faster.  Think you can outrun an African elephant - no - they can run 25 miles per hour.

Is global warming a big problem?  Think about this - more people die every year from cold than from heat...Over a million people freeze to death each year.   Now, we have made energy sources more expensive in order to fight global warming.  Are we reducing the opportunity for many poor people in the world to warm themselves from the cold?   Think about them.

Ever hear of Eratosthenes?  He was a Greek who lived over 200 years before Jesus.  He used math and geometry to figure out a way to prove that the Earth was round and what the circumference of our planet was. He got it right!  I'll explain that some other time.

In retrospect, I think our country's greatest blunder of the 20th century was the Linden Johnson administration's decision to escalate our involvement in Vietnam in 1964/65.   12 years of war, unrest in our country, over 58,000 Americans dead and 300,000 wounded.

I know it's early, but my current leader for our country's greatest blunder of the 21st century is the Joe Biden administration's decision to disable our energy industry.  It could have long lasting and wide ranging negative implications.  This surpasses the George W. Bush administration's decision to invade Iraq on the pretense of finding weapons of mass destruction.
