Lord, grant us peace; peace in the world, our country, our homes and within ourselves. Bring calm to our minds in the midst of this restless pagan world.
Besides the gifts we receive this year, let us remember that you gave us the greatest gift one could give; your only son. He showed us how to live and then died for our sins that we might spend eternity with you.
Help us stay focused on the true meaning of this blessed occasion. Let our hearts be merry as we rejoice in you. Amen
