It's New Years Eve. You know what happens at midnight...that is, if you're still young enough to stay up that late.
It's a time when we think back; think about the last year of our lives or the last many years of our lives. It includes the good, the bad, the amazing, the mundane, the unknown. Try to make sense of it all.
It's time to be thankful for all of it. Every bit of it went into making you, and everyone around you, what you are.
I often think how lucky I am to have such wonderful children. They could not be better. What did we do to deserve such a blessing? What things did we do right to effect their lives? You could mention a million different things and not be sure which had a major effect.
The one thing that strikes me today is they had a chance to see their parents kiss every day of their lives; more than one chance each and every day. Not all kids are so lucky. It was a good thing we did. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Oh! ... and don't miss your chance at midnight tonight.
