Of the 195 nations of the world, 43 are monarchies. The king or queen is the titular ruler. There are 13 monarchies in Asia, 12 in Europe, nine in the Americas, six in Oceania, and three in Africa.
These countries may select other heads-of-state to do the actual day-to-day governing but they are technically a monarchy. It seems like such an outmoded form of government to us and, I'm sure, to all those in some democratic form of governed state.
All that hullabaloo that goes along with the monarchy is silly to me. If those countries grew up with monarchies and it works for them, let them be.
My only suggestion is that you pay homage to the King of Kings.
