It had the feeling of Spring last weekend. You could see the signs.
I went for a walk at Sharon Woods lake Saturday and people were running hither and thither like ants on a discarded piece of candy. Certain trees have started to bud and some bulbs dare to peek out of the soil.
A few turtles came out of hibernation to sit on their logs and bask in the sun. The mallards have paired up and could be seen isolating themselves like high school sweethearts.
SUV's were hauling bikes over the rear cargo door. Cars were lined up like soldiers in mess line on Rt 42 waiting to get into the car wash.
Don't be fooled. Even with global warming - this is not the end of Winter. But the promise of better weather is seen for sure.
