RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

MEMORIES

More memories I came across while posting about the tornado.  I've done all this and more.  I was trying to be real - and also poetic.  Think what you would put in these categories.  (Some liberties taken with re-presentation.)

SENSES

SIGHTS THAT HAVE TAKEN MY BREATH AWAY

The stately flight of an eagle

The endless reach of the ocean when out at sea

A stadium packed with people

A baby sound asleep

The imposing majesty of the Rocky Mountains as you approach

SOUNDS THAT HAVE TAKEN MY BREATH AWAY

The trumpet of the sandhill crane

The crash of the ocean on a rocky shore line

The doppler swoosh of a low flying jet at it passes overhead

The visible power of an approaching tornado

The roar of a maddened crowd at a big game

The first wail of a newborn child

SMELLS THAT HAVE TAKEN MY BREATH AWAY

The aroma of Thanksgiving dinner wafting in the house

The salty air of the ocean early on a misty morning

The familiar essence of a loved one's perfume

A sweet stench of a locker room after a game

The scent of a baby after its bath
