 Are you getting used to seeing the QUIZ entries every Monday?  I hope you find it interesting if not invigorating.  Today, I've gotten away from the musical theme and gone to breakfast cereal.  

My favorite cereal is hot oatmeal.  I think it's been around forever.  It's what people called porridge, gruel or maybe brose.  Well, its been around as far back as people grew oats.  

Today's cereals are a different story.  Almost all contain oats or wheat or corn or bran.   Others, - - I have no idea what they make them out of. See this list of popular brands below and try to match them up with the correct date they were introduced into the marketplace.  These dates are jumbled.   I'll have the list with correct matching dates for you on Friday.

Now that we all know when cereals were first marketed, let's send best wishes to a great marketer, my son, Andy.  He's the best.  I love him and this is his birthdate.  Oh yeah, it's a really, really b i g number.
