ANSWER TO MONDAY'S QUIZ

Here are the responses for suggestions for a Thanksgiving song.  AKS suggested "Mashed Potato Time" by Dee Dee Sharp.  Another suggested "Let's All Get Drunk and Go Naked" by The Waterboys and another "Why Don't We Get Drunk and Screw" by Jimmy Buffett.  There were more but I can't repeat them.

The real answer to a Thanksgiving song is:  "Over the River and Through the Woods" a song taken from a poem written by Lydia Maria Child in 1844.  Surely you've heard of it.  Many have recorded it. It was notably made famous in 1973 when Charlie Brown concluded his Thanksgiving Day show with it but added "Oh no, Grandma lives in a Condominium."

Here is the answer to both easy math problems.  23  No one dared an answer.  How easy do they need to get?

PEMDAS is a memory helper standing for Parenthesis, Exponent, Multiplication, Division, Addition and Subtraction.  That is the order in which mathematical actions in equations are always taken.
