This week a song written in 1943.  It was recorded by several people and reached the top of the charts in 1944.  If you've heard of it, this might be real easy; if you haven't, you may think my typing is whacko.  Here is the first lines as written:

Marzy doats and dozy doats and liddle lamzy divey.  A kiddley divey too, wouldn't you?
