Passe means out of style - no longer useful - obsolete.

I'm looking for things that have become passe in my lifetime.  Here are a few that come to mind.  

Panty hose

Garter belts

White wall tires

Ear tubes

Tonsillectomies

Knee pads in football pants

Men's hats except for sports caps

Women's hats except at the KY Derby

Caps on nurses and waitresses
