TRANSATLANTIC

TRIVIA:  1958 was the first year more people crossed the Atlantic by air than by sea.  Pan American Airlines flying the Boeing 707 was the main conduit for this to happen. 

Monday's QUIZ must have been too difficult for y'all. Either that, or there is very little culture in my Immense Audiance.  The story line I gave you was the story of Madama Butterfly, Giacomo Puccini's tragic love story.  It premiered in Italy in 1904 and in Washington DC in 1906.
