This week another story line.  Put a name to it in the blog comments.

An American serviceman, serving in Asia, shacks up with a pretty Asian girl.  She considers them married; he does not.  He is there for a year, they have a loving relationship and they have a child, a son, which she keeps when he is rotated back to the US for discharge.  She waits and waits.  She raises the child for three years and still expects his return.

He does finally return to Asia but he brings his American wife with him.  He wants to collect his child, take him to the States and raise him.  He did not fathom that the Asian girl still loved him.  He did not think that she loved their child so much that losing him would break her heart.  

When he did realize what the situation really was, he rushed to her too late.  She took her own life.
