IMMIGRATION

All this todo about immigration befuddles me.  People have always wanted to come to our country.  We have always accepted immigrants.  It was this melting pot effect that made our country strong, diverse and vibrant.   People came here because this was the land of opportunity.

What has changed that makes what we were doing not work any more?   I think what has changed is that we have become the land of handouts.  It wasn't a problem for us when people came here to work.  It is a problem when people come here to take advantage of our handouts.  You see, its not an immigration problem at all.  I have seen the problem and it is us.
