On this date in 1948, Mikhail Baryshnikov was born.  Many consider this Russian ballet artist the greatest dancer of all time.

On this date in 1957, Cris Collinsworth was born.  He was a good wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals in the 1980's.  Now, he is considered one the best football analysts in the game.

On this date in 2009, John Updike died and the following year, J.D.Salinger did as well.  Both were famous American authors.
