RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

SUNDAY SERVICE

Today is Divine Mercy Sunday; the second Sunday of the Easter season.  The gospel is the familiar one about "doubting Thomas".   Jesus appeared to his disciples when Thomas wasn't there and Thomas refused to believe that it happened.  Later, He appeared when Thomas was there and he believed.

To me, the really interesting words of that Gospel were spoken when Jesus appeared.  Each time He said, "Peace be with you."   Nothing is better in this life than being at peace.  It was true then and it is now.

Find peace.  May peace be with you.
