RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

TOP THIS

A couple weeks ago I noted that I saw Puerto Rico license plates on a car in West Chester.  I was duly amazed.  I've been there and you can't get there by car.   I thought nothing could top that.

Well, last Sunday I was pulling into a parking lot in Mariemont to have dinner and almost ran into a car with a front license plate from Antarctica.  I did almost have a wreck.  Were my eyes fooling me?  Could it be?

The permanent population of Antarctica is zero.  There are no permanent roads and certainly no registered cars.  What is the story?

Turns out there is a company on the internet selling license plates from around the world.  In states where a front plate is not required, I suppose you can have a real eye catcher.  This one caught mine.
