SOFTBALL
Last night was fine for ducks but too wet for softball. I was forced to spend the night in front of the TV watching the Reds. What a treat. (?) The home team wasted away an 8-0 second inning lead as they were tied 9-9 in the eighth. Unbelievable! What happened in the 9th inning is even more amazing and disgusting. The Reds' best relievers gave up five more runs. They lost 14-9 in one of the saddest losses I can remember.
