SUNDAY SERVICE

Today is Trinity Sunday.  The Trinity is a kind of mystery.  It's a mystery because it is beyond human understanding.  One God - three distinct persons.  How does that compute.   God means the one above all.  If the one is above all, how can there be three?  St. Patrick used the clover in Ireland as an explanation.

I think the answer is - don't try to picture it with human eyes, it can't be done.  I have no great insight. I'm sure we shouldn't get hung up on trying to explain it.  God, the Father, sent his Son to the world to teach us about the Father. When the Son left the world, the Holy Spirit was sent into the world to continue teaching about God.  He is here now to help you if you only ask.
