AGE

I am writing today about age because it is my birthday.   If you think it is hard to believe how old I am, try to imagine how hard it is for me to imagine how old I am.  The following is making me feel even older.

Yesterday, I wrote about our seven Founding Fathers.  Today, I am going to lay another tidbit about them on you.  It amazed me.  On July 4, 1776, our Founding Fathers were the following ages.

George Washington - 44
John Adams - 40
Thomas Jefferson - 33
James Madison - 25
Alexander Hamilton - 21
Benjamin Franklin - 70
John Jay - 30

Can you believe how young these guy were who formed our country?  Wow!
