When I was a kid, Harry Truman said, "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." I didn't hear him say it but I think my wife did. She spends as little time there as possible.
I think, maybe, a lot of women heard that remark because there are a zillion more restaurants today than there were back then. AND, if you want to eat at a good one, at a reasonable time, you have to wait for a table. Yuk!
So kids, if you're not getting a good meal every night or breakfast every morning, blame it on President Harry S. Truman. (S stands for S, nothing more!)
