RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

3/21/2017

DID YOU KNOW THAT . . .

. . . today is a wonderful lady's birthday?  Happy Birthday Suzanne.

. . . most of next year's high school grads were born in the 21st century?

. . . if you give a man a fish, he will eat for a day.  Give a man a golf club and he'll fill the lake with golf balls.

. . . it doesn't seem right that bury, berry and Barry are all pronounced exactly the same. It might be as hard to learn English as it is for me to learn French.

. . . life expectancy in the U.S. was 48 years in 1900 and that it was 78 in 2000?   Will it be 108 in the year 3000?

. . . the FDA rates beef as Select, Choice or Prime?  Prime is best.  Cattle that are fed grain just before slaughter to fatten them, produce greasy meat.

. . . hippos sleep under water?  They actually raise their nostrils out of the water to take in air without waking.  I wish I could master something like that.

. . . over 18 million brackets were entered into ESPN's system?  Keep in mind that CBS Sports, FOX Sports and many others also accepted brackets.  Here are the top ten teams that were picked by the most people to win it all - from the top down:  North Carolina, Villanova, Duke, Kansas, Gonzaga, UCLA, Kentucky, Arizona, Louisville, and Oregon.

. . . LUKE TRUMPS BRAINS!
😏
