RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

DID YOU KNOW THAT . . .

. . . I was born in the 40s, raised in the 50s, matured in the drug culture of the 60s and 70s?  Even today, I'm still into the drug scene.  I drop acid . . .  every day, 81 mg of acetylsalicylic acid and 400 mcg of folic acid.  Some habits are hard to break.

. . . Kim Jong-Un, leader of North Korea, has a 'safe area' to run to in case of attack from outside forces.  He has an underground structure that he thought was impenetrable until he saw what we did lasts week in Afghanistan.  There was more than one reason that we dropped that big bomb (the MOAB) on the underground caves belonging to the Taliban.  MOAB stand for Massive Ordinance Air Blast according to our military.   I prefer Mother Of All Bombs.  It sent a message to Kim.

. . . A pangolin looks like a scaled anteater.  It does have scales but its not an anteater.  Currently, it is the most poached animal in the world.  The pangolin is a nocturnal animal that lives in the jungles of Asia and Africa.  It's scales offer it some protection from predators but mostly it just has to climb a tree to get out of trouble.  The pangolin is now considered an endangered species.  Sadly, the Chinese value it's scales for use in medicine and cosmetic products.  The scales are a hot item on the black market.
