CINCINNATI

Cincinnati - how does it taste?   This weekend, the annual Taste of Cincinnati is going on.  It is the nation's longest running food festival dating to 1979.  It's a three-day affair.

You know what these things are about.  Free admission.  Food of all kinds.  Music.  Fun.

Did I mention, BEER?   Oh, yes!  Beer is here.  Cincinnati must have beer.  At our little culinary soiree, we have plenty of beer.  To be exact, I hear you can taste 102 different kinds of beer - if you can still stand after 101.   44 of these brews come from local breweries.   Cincinnati will forever reflect the German immigrants who first populated the beautiful city hard by the Ohio River.  Yes, the Germans brought us beer and the Irish saw that it didn't go to waste.

So, when you hear someone mention the Taste of Cincinnati and your mind wanders to enticing appetizers, exotic dishes, and heavenly desserts don't forget what Cincinnati is all about - don't forget the barley and the hops - we got the beer!
