The readings heard at Catholic mass this weekend are really about God as our protector. The message is to fear not - do not be afraid.
The simple instruction Jesus gave to his disciples was this: "Acknowledge Me before others and I will acknowledge you before the Father." You see, that will get you where you want to go.
The Father knows all things and protects even the sparrows in the sky. Surely He will protect you.
Be not afraid.
