CINCINNATI

If you're watching the PGA Championship today, see if you catch sight of Jim Herman.  The PGA Championship is the fourth and final Major tournament of the year for pro golfers.  One of the first round leaders on Thursday, was this Jim Herman.  He fell off a little on Friday, but is still in it.

Jim Herman grew up on the west side of Cincinnati.  He went to St. Xavier High School and the University of Cincinnati.  Jim is 39 years old and now lives with his family in Palm City, Florida.

Not every pro golfer is rolling in money.  Jim has struggled for a lot of years on and off the "Tour". He's been trying to make it big for over 15 years.  He has one career win on the PGA Tour - that was in April 2016 at the Shell Houston Open.

To afford to play golf all those years and only win once, he had to supplement his income by being a club professional.   When he was much younger, Jim was fortunate enough to meet one Donald J. Trump.  He gave Jim a job at his private club in New Jersey (Trump National Golf Club where the President vacationed this past two weeks).

Let's root for Cincinnati's Jim Herman to get a good payday, today.
