One of the shining stars of Cincinnati is the Krohn Conservatory - when I was a kid we just called it the "Flower House" - and that it is. Located in beautiful Eden Park, it is a great place to visit any time but especially during the Christmas season.
Throughout the year you can immerse yourself in an arid desert and a moist jungle; walk under a rain forest waterfall and pass through a lush tropical island. In addition, there are seasonal exhibits and an atmosphere that will calm the most harried soul.
From now through January 7, the Conservatory is featuring a model train winding its way through the timely floral of poinsettias and evergreens. A creche is prominent outside the building with life-size figures and livestock. Enjoy the wonders of the city.
