CINCINNATI

If you're looking for very famous people from Cincinnati, you need go no further than someone named Taft.  This is a family of politicians like no other.

Of course, there is William Howard Taft; born in Cincinnati in 1857.  He was the 27th President of the United States serving from 1909 to 1913.  He was the 10th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court serving from 1921 to 1930. 

There is also Robert A. Taft, born in Cincinnati in 1889.  He was a U.S. Senator from 1939 to 1953.

Then there is Robert A. Taft Jr. born in Cincinnati in 1917.  He was a U.S. Senator from 1971 to 1976 and a U.S. Representative from 1963 to 1971.

Then follows Robert A. (Bob) Taft III born in 1942.  He was the Governor of Ohio from 1999 to 2007.  (We have a photo of him and my spouse taken at a Republican fund raising event.  No, I wont print it.)
