CINCINNATI

The Cincinnati Museum Center is undergoing refurbishing and remodeling.  It will close on October 22 for final work to be completed.  It will open to the public again on November 17, 2018. The repair work began in July, 2016. 

It is a marvelous building, of course.  It has stood for 85 years just west of the central business district.  Here is the latest short video of what they are doing there - more info can be found on their website.

There is a chocolate exhibit going on right now and just this past Friday, a guitar exhibit opened.  Each will run through January 6. 

The OMNIMAX theater is currently closed for repair, as is the Natural History and Science museum and the Cincinnati history museum.  All will be ready by November 17. 

I can't wait to see the fountain out front - my parents took me there to see it when the building was still a train terminal.  It is fantastic.
