CINCINNATI

"The Cincinnati Reds won their opener.  Thank Goodness!  If they lost their opener, how would we be able to drink bottled beer at the stadium?"   This was one of my grandfather's favorite jokes.  He asked my one version or the other every year.  Memories...

In the year 1800, Cincinnati, Ohio had a population of 750.  There were only 30 structures built in the city.  I'm assuming these structures included multifamily housing.

There is a town in central upstate New York called Cincinnatus.  It has a population of about 1,000.

There is a neighborhood in Anzio, Italy called Cincinnato.  It is a seaside tourist area.

Cincinnatus was an aristocrat of the early Roman Republic (before the Empire) born in 519 BC.  He died in 430 BC at the age of 89.
