Tomorrow is the first Saturday of May; the traditional day for the Run for the Roses - the Kentucky Derby. A horse named Omaha Beach was the prohibitive favorite but has been a late scratch.
Now you have to look into the 'trainer' column instead of the horse's names. Bet one of those nags trained by Bob Baffert and you have a good chance of winning. There are three. He's good and they're good.
Don't bet the house, though, nothing is certain in horse racing. Unless, of course, you're into Roman history written by Tacitus.
