RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

ZIG ZIGLAR

Zig Ziglar was an American author, motivational speaker and salesman.  In my day, he was the ultimate in sales trainers, specializing in entrepreneurial coaching and personal development.  His real name was Hilary Hinton.  Born in the deep South, the 10th of 12 children, he died in 2012 after spending years on the speaking circuit and writing over 30 books on related subjects including 10 best sellers.

Quotations from his speeches would fill a treasure trove of inspiring wealth.  Here are just a few.

"People often say that motivation doesn't last.  Well, neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily"

"Among other things you can give and still keep, are your word, a smile and a grateful heart."

"When obstacles arise, you change your direction to reach your goal; you do not change your decision to get there."

"You were born to win, but to be a winner you must plan to win, prepare to win and expect to win."

"If you aim at nothing, you will hit it every time."

Check him out.
