DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE

This past Saturday we Americans celebrated our Independence.  I've written about the document numerous times (it is interesting what comes up with "Declaration of Independence" in the search feature).

Here are few more insights which you may not know:

๐Ÿ‘€The youngest person to sign the Declaration was Edward Rutledge who was age 25 on 7/4/1776.                 Years later he became Governor of South Carolina

๐Ÿ‘€Of the 56 signers of the Declaration, 48 were born in the "New World".  The others?  One was born             in Wales, two in Scotland, two in England and three in Ireland.

๐Ÿ‘€The only Catholic to sign it was Charles Carroll.  He was a Maryland farmer and one of those born             in Ireland.

God Bless America!
