RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

THIS N THAT

When I was a kid, news broadcasting was in the evening and lasted 15 minutes.  Now one of our local channels does 2-1/2 hours in the evening and another 1/2 hour at 11pm.  Is there that much more news

Just noticed that Rumpke is still charging a "Fuel Surcharge" on my monthly bill.  That was put in when the price of gasoline went sky high in 2008 thanks to BHO rules and regulations.  The country averaged over $4.00 per gallon at one point.  Today, it averages near $2.00 per gallon.

It is believed that a man named Satoshi Nakamoto invented the bitcoin but no one is really saying.  It is an amazing story I may expound on some day.

Aluminum is a really neat metal.  We find it in the kitchen in foil and cans, in our window frames, and in our cars and any large structures that need to be strong but light weight.  No iron involved, so it doesn't rust.  Where do we get it?  It is very abundant in nature but always found in combination with other materials.  The trick is to set up chemical reactions that separate it.

Maybe you can you bear a bare bear but can you tear a tear?   Go look in the shed.
