THE WORD THIS WEEKEND

At Catholic mass this weekend, we start off with a beautiful verse from the Book of Proverbs.  Because this writing in this week is very special for me, I'm just going to give most of it to you.

"When one finds a worthy wife, her value is far beyond pearls.  Her husband, entrusting his heart to her, has an unfailing prize.  She brings him good, and not evil, all the days of her life.  She reaches out her hands to the poor and extends her arms to the needy.  Charm is deceptive and beauty fleeting; the woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.  Giver her a reward for her labors, and let her works praise her at the city gates."

In the Gospel this week, there is a parable with a great lesson to learn and remember.  It is summed up like this.  "To whom much is given, much will be expected."  You see, we are not all given the same talents but we are expected to do the best we can with what we have.

God Bless You, I love you.
