Here is a piece of my past poetry of which I am rightly proud. I hope you like it. This was a reprint with explanation for those who need it.
POETRY
Too often, I assume everyone is on the same wave length as me and can fully understand what I am getting at. A couple of weeks ago I posted an original poem. On the chance you didn't get what I was saying, here it is again - this time with explanation.
CATERPILLAR
I am a caterpillar, living on a leaf [1]
and the gardener watches over me. [2]
All day I walk and eat and sleep
while the gardener watches over me.
My life is short no matter how hard I try.
but the gardener watches over me.
And when I die, I'll become a beautiful butterfly. [3]
Yes, the gardener watches just because [4]
I am a caterpillar . . . and so are you.

[1] The garden is our world and the leaf is the part of it in which I live.
[2] The gardener is He who made this world.
[3] The beautiful butterfly is what a caterpillar becomes and a reference to my belief that what we become after death is an even better thing.
[4] God watches over us because we are who we are . . . His children.
