Here is a note mostly for sports fans but additionally for fans of the Cincinnati area and fans of good people. Paul 'Doc' Daugherty is retiring today. He has been THE sports guy (columnist) for the Cincinnati Enquirer for 35 years. He was not the 'beat reporter' but the guy who wrote about the people of sports as much as anything. He also wrote about his family and penned a book or two about them.
He has a 'goodbye' column in today's paper - it can be found on the electronic version as well. You will find a dozen other memory articles linked to it that he has published in the past week that bring good memories to old-timers like me. Check it out; you won't be disappointed.
