At Catholic mass this weekend, the word to remember is missionary. You know what it is - do you remember that it is what you are called to be? The reading from Luke's gospel relates how Jesus sent his followers to the cities to which He intended to travel. Those disciples were charged with preparing His way. All of Christ's followers are called to this task.
Not all of us are suited to be missionaries but we all have some part to play. At one time or another, you will have the opportunity to witness to others that you are Christian. Don't cower from it. Do not fear.
The best way for most of us is to let others know you are Christian by your love. Live a life of love. Be kind to others. It is an example that others will not forget.
