MIDWEEK PRAYER

Taken from Paul's letter to the Philippians 4:4-7.  His letter is instructional and this is my translation:

Lord, I pray that I may always be joyful in your presence
that I may rejoice in you.

Let everyone see that I am considerate in all I do
that they may know I am with you.

I will not worry about anything of this world
but I will pray about everything.
My prayers ask for your Father's help
but more, they thank God for all I have.

I have faith that this will bring me God's peace
which is far more wonderful than I can imagine.
God's peace will guard my heart and mind
as I live in Christ Jesus.
