Mattel Inc. released a new Barbie Doll on Tuesday of this week. It represents a person with Down Syndrome.
Mattel sells 100 Barbie Dolls every minute!!! They are the most popular doll in 75 countries and has earned the title of most popular of all toys in 32 countries including 17 in Africa.
That's not bad for a 64 year-old doll. Of course, she's a child compared to me.

Do you have any of your childhood toys? A friend asked me that question yesterday. I thought it a ridiculous notion.. Now, I wonder. Do people hang on to things that long? Do you? Do they have sentimental value for some people?
