INDISPENSABLE

 Never think that you are indispensable.   That you cannot be replaced.  It may be humbling but it is true.  That doesn't mean that you're not valuable - you are.  

I feel that old politicians think they are indispensable.  Biden, Trump, Feinstein, McConnell, Pelosi.  Do they think government wont work without them.  

I suppose Abraham Lincoln thought the Civil War would never end without his leadership.  It did.  I suppose Franklin Roosevelt thought we couldn't win World War II without him at the helm.  We did.

We need to throw out the old wood and turn this country over to some younger people.  Out with the old and in with the new.  Give it a try.  Infuse a new vitality in the country.
