Was the quiz from last Monday too easy or too hard?  Here is the answer.

Who played rock n roll music through the horn in it's head  -  -  it was a "one-eyed, one-horned flying purple people eater."   This was from the song called  "The Purple People Eater."  This song was written and performed by Sheb Wooley.  It reached number one on the Billboard Pop chart on June 9, 1958 and stayed there until July 14.  It was also No. 1 in Canada and Australia.  Many vocalists have covered this little ditty but never Pisgah Pete.

You older folks should have known this one.  I received a couple of incomplete answers.  You see, it wasn't just any old random flying purple people eater.  It was one with just one eye and on horn.
