LABOR

Today is Labor Day.  This refers to work and not the really hard work of delivering an infant.

I'm guessing most people think they are underpaid.  This thought is the source of many people's dissatisfaction with their job.  It leads to half-hearted work or theft of time, if not goods, both of which are forms of stealing.

In the long run, people get paid for the value of the work they perform.  If you are underemployed (i.e. not using your talents to their best advantage), you will be paid only for that work you do.  We have been going through a period, in our country, of having more jobs than workers to fill them.  There is work out there.  It's difficult finding the best job for every person - the one that best matches their talents and ability.

All the talent and ability we have is a gift; a gift from God.  It is our duty to develop our talents and to improve our ability to perform whatever task is before us.

Don't complain about your wages, do something positive about it.  Look within yourself.  Improve yourself.  It's never too late.
