WORDS

 I've often mentioned in this blog how much I love words.  Recent experiences have refocused my attention to the broader subject of the written word.  Individual words are still cool but the ability to put them together and make an impression on the reader is far superior.    

Some people have the ability to convey their thoughts by putting together words concisely.  What a talent.  It can be so moving.  I've received many written messages in the last few weeks and I'm often astounded how beautifully people are able to say what they feel - what needs to be said.  

I'm convinced that this ability to write is not strictly innate though some are more gifted than others.   It takes practice.  You could do it too.  Do try.  Written words, not those of the card manufacturers, but your own, are very powerful.  You CAN develop the ability to express yourself clearly and succinctly.  It will be a blessing to others - I can attest to that.
